Last week, August 27 through August 31, 2012, I had the privilege of taking 18 hours of instruction on mixed mediumship from one really terrific teacher, Sandra McFadden. Sandra spent a week at Camp Etna Spiritualist Camp in Etna, Maine teaching a group of 20 people how to hone thier mediumship skills. She also gave private readings, and messages and taught a few other classes as well.Sandra came to Camp Etna from Scotland where evidential mediumship is the only acceptable form of mental mediumship.
For those who do not know what evidential mediumship is I will explain. A Medium is a person who has the ability to receive communication from spirit people, those beings who no longer have a physical body, thus proving the continuity of life after death.
A Mediums ability to provide evidence that they are truly speaking to a loved one who has passed into spirit is key to proving that life does indeed continue after the change called death.
Mass Hypnosis
Let's face it, like it or not we are all being mass hypnotized every single day. You say you can't be hypnotized, get over it, you can be and you are, often, hypnotized. Please, allow me to explain.
When I decided to hang my Hypnotherapy shingle, I knew to have a successful practice I absolutely had to educate people about hypnosis. Nine out of ten people either have no idea what hypnosis is or they have incredible misconceptions about it. Ridiculous ideas, such as: You have to have a weak mind to be hypnotized, or, hypnotists have some kind of special power and you should never, ever, look them in the eye. I've encountered some truly strange beliefs people hold about hypnosis over the years. In fact, I actually had one client say to me as we were walking to my office, "You don't look like a hypnotist." And the worst part is, he seemed disappointed! So I asked him, "Tell me, what is it a hypnotist is supposed to look like?" To which he replied, "Well you know, flowing robes, lots of jewelry, mysterious." All I could say was, "Sorry to disappoint you."
Hypnosis 101: All it takes to be hypnotized is a focusing of attention for a very short period of time. Usually, anywhere from 10 or 15 seconds to 3 minutes and you are in hypnosis. Do you play any sort of video game for more than 10 seconds to 3 minutes? If you answered yes, you have been hypnotized. Watch a good TV show for a few minutes, you have been hypnotized. Get caught up in a really good book for a few seconds to a few minutes you guessed it, you are in hypnosis. Any narrowing or focusing of attention will hypnotize you in the blink of an eye. This is why advertising works so well. Once you are hypnotized it is easy to make you think you want that pizza or that really great car, or that new iphone.
Now, you actually have to like these things in order for the suggestions to work but really, who wouldn't love a brand new super charged sports car or a neat new smart phone? So, do advertisers know how mass hypnosis works? Yes, of course they do. This is why they spend millions of dollars a year on advertising. They know hypnosis works!
I am sorry but I have to bring the "P" word into this (politics). Even politicians know all about mass hypnosis. They practice it all the time. Did you really think Obama would bring any kind or real meaningful change to this great country? Or Bush before him? I am telling you, if you followed the last election and were a true believer, friends, you were hypnotized!
Now please, for those who want to stone me to death, take a deep breath and hear me out. Politicians are glorified hypnotists. They can't help it, they are groomed for it. The best political hypnotist wins, my friends. Nearly every politician walking is selling you a bill of goods and they are counting on you being hypnotized long enough to believe what they say.
Two of my friends are hypnotists and they can't see what is happening either. If they can't see mass hypnosis, how can the average person see it? Stop listening to what the candidates are saying and do your research on every single candidate. Let their past actions and beliefs speak for them. I will say no more on that subject except this, trust me, they are using hypnosis on you, in fact, it is rampant in politics. And this year as in every election year the best hypnotist will win.
The other very common hypnosis perpetuated upon the masses is religion. Religions have mass hypnotized people for ages. Yes, now I am sure you are going to stone me. Thank goodness I'm saying this in a blog and not in a brick and mortar structure, LOL! But, believe it or not religion uses many hypnosis techniques that put you into trance very quickly. If you were trained in hypnotic technique you would spot it instantly. Check out this video folks. It speaks volumes.

Still not convinced? Let me ask you a few simple questions. Have you gotten so over weight that you can't take a 20 minute walk without feeling you are having a heart attack.? Now here is the saving grace, once you know what is happening, you can stop it. Know the signs of hypnotic trance and you can snap yourself out of it. Or, if you can’t do it alone, seek the assistance of a good hypnotherapist. She or he can help you control the effects of mass hypnosis on your life. Think I’m kidding? I’m not. Did Jesus Heal People Using Hypnosis?
Whether or not Jesus used hypnosis to heal people is something I have been pondering for some time. If we examine a passage from the 7th chapter of the Gospel of Mark in which Jesus performs a healing we can see some striking parallels to many now widely used hypnotic techniques.
Before we go any further with this thread of thought, though, first we must address how Middle Eastern peoples viewed illness.
Middle Eastern people during the time of Jesus did not see illness as something to be diagnosed and cured as we Westerners do. They saw illness as simply being out of rhythm, or out of balance with Sacred Unity. And to back up just a bit further it is important to know that the Middle Eastern concept of God was not then and is not now the same as that of the Western Christian concept of God. To Middle Eastern peoples the concept of God is that of no separation. To them they were not separate from the divine but rather a part of it. All are “One’ in Sacred Unity. So, to repeat, for Middle Eastern peoples illness meant that you were out of rhythm, or out of balance with Sacred Unity.
In this story found in the Gospel of Mark, Jesus takes a man who is deaf and cannot speak aside from the crowd. The man, to the town he lives in, is known as the deaf and dumb man (as taken from several versions of the Christian Bible). In today’s terms this means that the people of the town have preconceived ideas about who the man is and they project that onto him.
Jesus knows that in order to help this man heal he must first take him away from the crowd because how can one heal if they are constantly being reminded that they are sick?
Fist parallel to using hypnosis: Taking the individual aside from the crowd as in bringing a person into the office, a private space in which to work. No outside influences.
As the story continues Jesus breathes with the man.
Second parallel to hypnosis: The use of various breathing techniques is part of every hypnosis session. Deep breathing, holding the breath, letting it all out, relaxing as you do so, then breathing normally and naturally, is all part of a hypnotic session.
Jesus speaks to the man.
Third parallel to hypnosis: Voice is a huge part of hypnosis. Modulation of the voice, speaking slowly, distinctly, rhythmically, in sync with the slower breathing that happens normally and naturally in hypnosis.
Jesus then makes contact with him. It says Jesus touched his tongue.
Fourth parallel: It is not uncommon in some hypnotic techniques to touch a person. Not all issues and hypnosis sessions call for it but some do.
Jesus spits on the ground.
Provided this is a correct translation from the Aramaic then this is not something we do in hypnosis. We do not spit, or at least I don’t...smile!
Jesus then looks to heaven.
Now, having studied Aramaic to a small degree, I can say with some assurance that this statement does not carry the same meaning in Aramaic as it does in English. To the Middle Eastern people heaven is not somewhere outside of you or a place you go to when you die if you live a good life, but rather, heaven is an experience you can have anytime. When you raise your vibration high enough then you are in heaven. So you might interpret this phrase, Jesus looked to heaven as, Jesus became aware that both he and the man were now, at the same time, in rhythm with Sacred Unity.
Fifth parallel to hypnosis: Any hypnotherapist worth his or her salt knows when their client is in that space where healing can and does occur. You can feel it. It is definitely a rhythm or a flow or a vibration that can be felt.
So Jesus looked to heaven and spoke the word “Ephphatha!” which means, “Be opened.” Be opened to Sacred Unity, or put another way, come back into balance, or rhythm, with Sacred Unity.
Sixth parallel: When a hypnotherapist feels their client is in that space of openness this is when their words (suggestions) will have the greatest affect.
Jesus then told the man, “Don’t tell anyone about this.” Most likely he also told the man to go home and not to go immediately back to the town where they knew him as the deaf and dumb man.
Healing takes time to sink in to the psyche. Often, when first healed, a person will walk around wondering if it is real or imagined. So it takes time for the idea of being healed to become real for a person. If someone goes immediately back into the environment, or circumstance where they are viewed as ill, or in this case deaf and dumb, the person can be pulled out of a state of healing very quickly by the projections of those around them.
Seventh parallel: I often tell my clients to go home and be quite for a while and not to go back to work or out with friends immediately after a session. I always record my sessions for the client and I suggest they listen to the CD a few more times first before going back to their normal routines. I tell them to give themselves time to fully realize that they are healed of their illness or cured of an addiction or phobia especially if they have been sick or had an addiction for a long time.
So I leave it to you. Did Jesus use what we, today, call hypnosis to help heal people? Where we can never be one hundred percent certain it does seem to me that there are many similarities, at least in this one particular healing that Jesus performed.

Hypnosis Affects DNA!
As a hypnotherapist it is normal to have an inquisitive mind. I want to know the how and why of things especially regarding my field of work an study.
Ever since I became a believer in the power of hypnotic suggestion nearly 30 years ago and started my journey into the realm of the subconscious mind I have been searching for the answer to how and why hypnosis works.
This is a fabulous article and one worth reading. It explains why hypnosis and autogenous training can influence DNA which of couse will affect change on a subconscious level.
Now that science is proving that hypnosis works maybe more people will be willing to give it a try. It is and has always been a safe and effective means of self-improvement and healing.

Scientists Prove DNA Can Be Reprogrammed by Words and Frequencies

THE HUMAN DNA IS A BIOLOGICAL INTERNET and superior in many aspects to the artificial one. Russian scientific research directly or indirectly explains phenomena such as clairvoyance, intuition, spontaneous and remote acts of healing, self healing, affirmation techniques, unusual light/auras around people (namely spiritual masters), mind’s influence on weather patterns and much more. In addition, there is evidence for a whole new type of medicine in which DNA can be influenced and reprogrammed by words and frequencies WITHOUT cutting out and replacing single genes.
Only 10% of our DNA is being used for building proteins. It is this subset of DNA that is of interest to western researchers and is being examined and categorized. The other 90% are considered “junk DNA.” The Russian researchers, however, convinced that nature was not dumb, joined linguists and geneticists in a venture to explore those 90% of “junk DNA.” Their results, findings and conclusions are simply revolutionary! According to them, our DNA is not only responsible for the construction of our body but also serves as data storage and in communication. The Russian linguists found that the genetic code, especially in the apparently useless 90%, follows the same rules as all our human languages. To this end they compared the rules of syntax (the way in which words are put together to form phrases and sentences), semantics (the study of meaning in language forms) and the basic rules of grammar. They found that the alkalines of our DNA follow a regular grammar and do have set rules just like our languages. So human languages did not appear coincidentally but are a reflection of our inherent DNA.
The Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev and his colleagues also explored the vibrational behavior of the DNA. [For the sake of brevity I will give only a summary here. For further exploration please refer to the appendix at the end of this article.] The bottom line was: “Living chromosomes function just like solitonic/holographic computers using the endogenous DNA laser radiation.” This means that they managed for example to modulate certain frequency patterns onto a laser ray and with it influenced the DNA frequency and thus the genetic information itself. Since the basic structure of DNA-alkaline pairs and of language (as explained earlier) are of the same structure, no DNA decoding is necessary.
One can simply use words and sentences of the human language! This, too, was experimentally proven! Living DNA substance (in living tissue, not in vitro) will always react to language-modulated laser rays and even to radio waves, if the proper frequencies are being used.
This finally and scientifically explains why affirmations, autogenous training, hypnosis and the like can have such strong effects on humans and their bodies. It is entirely normal and natural for our DNA to react to language. While western researchers cut single genes from the DNA strands and insert them elsewhere, the Russians enthusiastically worked on devices that can influence the cellular metabolism through suitable modulated radio and light frequencies and thus repair genetic defects.
Garjajev’s research group succeeded in proving that with this method chromosomes damaged by x-rays for example can be repaired. They even captured information patterns of a particular DNA and transmitted it onto another, thus reprogramming cells to another genome. ?So they successfully transformed, for example, frog embryos to salamander embryos simply by transmitting the DNA information patterns! This way the entire information was transmitted without any of the side effects or disharmonies encountered when cutting out and re-introducing single genes from the DNA. This represents an unbelievable, world-transforming revolution and sensation! All this by simply applying vibration and language instead of the archaic cutting-out procedure! This experiment points to the immense power of wave genetics, which obviously has a greater influence on the formation of organisms than the biochemical processes of alkaline sequences.
Esoteric and spiritual teachers have known for ages that our body is programmable by language, words and thought. This has now been scientifically proven and explained. Of course the frequency has to be correct. And this is why not everybody is equally successful or can do it with always the same strength. The individual person must work on the inner processes and maturity in order to establish a conscious communication with the DNA. The Russian researchers work on a method that is not dependent on these factors but will ALWAYS work, provided one uses the correct frequency.
But the higher developed an individual’s consciousness is, the less need is there for any type of device! One can achieve these results by oneself, and science will finally stop to laugh at such ideas and will confirm and explain the results. And it doesn’t end there.?The Russian scientists also found out that our DNA can cause disturbing patterns in the vacuum, thus producing magnetized wormholes! Wormholes are the microscopic equivalents of the so-called Einstein-Rosen bridges in the vicinity of black holes (left by burned-out stars).? These are tunnel connections between entirely different areas in the universe through which information can be transmitted outside of space and time. The DNA attracts these bits of information and passes them on to our consciousness. This process of hyper communication is most effective in a state of relaxation. Stress, worries or a hyperactive intellect prevent successful hyper communication or the information will be totally distorted and useless.
In nature, hyper communication has been successfully applied for millions of years. The organized flow of life in insect states proves this dramatically. Modern man knows it only on a much more subtle level as “intuition.” But we, too, can regain full use of it. An example from Nature: When a queen ant is spatially separated from her colony, building still continues fervently and according to plan. If the queen is killed, however, all work in the colony stops. No ant knows what to do. Apparently the queen sends the “building plans” also from far away via the group consciousness of her subjects. She can be as far away as she wants, as long as she is alive. In man hyper communication is most often encountered when one suddenly gains access to information that is outside one’s knowledge base. Such hyper communication is then experienced as inspiration or intuition. The Italian composer Giuseppe Tartini for instance dreamt one night that a devil sat at his bedside playing the violin. The next morning Tartini was able to note down the piece exactly from memory, he called it the Devil’s Trill Sonata.
For years, a 42-year old male nurse dreamt of a situation in which he was hooked up to a kind of knowledge CD-ROM. Verifiable knowledge from all imaginable fields was then transmitted to him that he was able to recall in the morning. There was such a flood of information that it seemed a whole encyclopedia was transmitted at night. The majority of facts were outside his personal knowledge base and reached technical details about which he knew absolutely nothing.
When hyper communication occurs, one can observe in the DNA as well as in the human being special phenomena. The Russian scientists irradiated DNA samples with laser light. On screen a typical wave pattern was formed. When they removed the DNA sample, the wave pattern did not disappear, it remained. Many control experiments showed that the pattern still came from the removed sample, whose energy field apparently remained by itself. This effect is now called phantom DNA effect. It is surmised that energy from outside of space and time still flows through the activated wormholes after the DNA was removed. The side effect encountered most often in hyper communication also in human beings are inexplicable electromagnetic fields in the vicinity of the persons concerned. Electronic devices like CD players and the like can be irritated and cease to function for hours. When the electromagnetic field slowly dissipates, the devices function normally again. Many healers and psychics know this effect from their work. The better the atmosphere and the energy, the more frustrating it is that the recording device stops functioning and recording exactly at that moment. And repeated switching on and off after the session does not restore function yet, but next morning all is back to normal. Perhaps this is reassuring to read for many, as it has nothing to do with them being technically inept, it means they are good at hyper communication.
In their book “Vernetzte Intelligenz” (Networked Intelligence), Grazyna Gosar and Franz Bludorf explain these connections precisely and clearly. The authors also quote sources presuming that in earlier times humanity had been, just like the animals, very strongly connected to the group consciousness and acted as a group. To develop and experience individuality we humans however had to forget hyper communication almost completely. Now that we are fairly stable in our individual consciousness, we can create a new form of group consciousness, namely one, in which we attain access to all information via our DNA without being forced or remotely controlled about what to do with that information. We now know that just as on the internet our DNA can feed its proper data into the network, can call up data from the network and can establish contact with other participants in the network. Remote healing, telepathy or “remote sensing” about the state of relatives etc.. can thus be explained. Some animals know also from afar when their owners plan to return home. That can be freshly interpreted and explained via the concepts of group consciousness and hyper communication. Any collective consciousness cannot be sensibly used over any period of time without a distinctive individuality. Otherwise we would revert to a primitive herd instinct that is easily manipulated.
Hyper communication in the new millennium means something quite different: Researchers think that if humans with full individuality would regain group consciousness, they would have a god-like power to create, alter and shape things on Earth! AND humanity is collectively moving toward such a group consciousness of the new kind. Fifty percent of today’s children will be problem children as soon as the go to school. The system lumps everyone together and demands adjustment. But the individuality of today’s children is so strong that that they refuse this adjustment and giving up their idiosyncrasies in the most diverse ways.
At the same time more and more clairvoyant children are born [see the book “China’s Indigo Children” by Paul Dong or the chapter about Indigos in my book “Nutze die taeglichen Wunder”(Make Use of the Daily Wonders)]. Something in those children is striving more and more towards the group consciousness of the new kind, and it will no longer be suppressed. As a rule, weather for example is rather difficult to influence by a single individual. But it may be influenced by a group consciousness (nothing new to some tribes doing it in their rain dances). Weather is strongly influenced by Earth resonance frequencies, the so-called Schumann frequencies. But those same frequencies are also produced in our brains, and when many people synchronize their thinking or individuals (spiritual masters, for instance) focus their thoughts in a laser-like fashion, then it is scientifically speaking not at all surprising if they can thus influence weather.
Researchers in group consciousness have formulated the theory of Type I civilizations. A humanity that developed a group consciousness of the new kind would have neither environmental problems nor scarcity of energy. For if it were to use its mental power as a unified civilization, it would have control of the energies of its home planet as a natural consequence. And that includes all natural catastrophes!!! A theoretical Type II civilization would even be able to control all energies of their home galaxy. In my book “Nutze die taeglichen Wunder,” I have described an example of this: Whenever a great many people focus their attention or consciousness on something similar like Christmas time, football world championship or the funeral of Lady Diana in England then certain random number generators in computers start to deliver ordered numbers instead of the random ones. An ordered group consciousness creates order in its whole surroundings!
When a great number of people get together very closely, potentials of violence also dissolve. It looks as if here, too, a kind of humanitarian consciousness of all humanity is created.(The Global Consciousness Project)
To come back to the DNA: It apparently is also an organic superconductor that can work at normal body temperature. Artificial superconductors require extremely low temperatures of between 200 and 140°C to function. As one recently learned, all superconductors are able to store light and thus information. This is a further explanation of how the DNA can store information. There is another phenomenon linked to DNA and wormholes. Normally, these supersmall wormholes are highly unstable and are maintained only for the tiniest fractions of a second. Under certain conditions stable wormholes can organize themselves which then form distinctive vacuum domains in which for example gravity can transform into electricity.
Vacuum domains are self-radiant balls of ionized gas that contain considerable amounts of energy. There are regions in Russia where such radiant balls appear very often. Following the ensuing confusion the Russians started massive research programs leading finally to some of the discoveries mentions above. Many people know vacuum domains as shiny balls in the sky. The attentive look at them in wonder and ask themselves, what they could be. I thought once: “Hello up there. If you happen to be a UFO, fly in a triangle.” And suddenly, the light balls moved in a triangle. Or they shot across the sky like ice hockey pucks. They accelerated from zero to crazy speeds while sliding gently across the sky. One is left gawking and I have, as many others, too, thought them to be UFOs. Friendly ones, apparently, as they flew in triangles just to please me. Now the Russians found in the regions, where vacuum domains appear often that sometimes fly as balls of light from the ground upwards into the sky, that these balls can be guided by thought. One has found out since that vacuum domains emit waves of low frequency as they are also produced in our brains.
And because of this similarity of waves they are able to react to our thoughts. To run excitedly into one that is on ground level might not be such a great idea, because those balls of light can contain immense energies and are able to mutate our genes. They can, they don’t necessarily have to, one has to say. For many spiritual teachers also produce such visible balls or columns of light in deep meditation or during energy work which trigger decidedly pleasant feelings and do not cause any harm. Apparently this is also dependent on some inner order and on the quality and provenance of the vacuum domain. There are some spiritual teachers (the young Englishman Ananda, for example) with whom nothing is seen at first, but when one tries to take a photograph while they sit and speak or meditate in hyper communication, one gets only a picture of a white cloud on a chair. In some Earth healing projects such light effects also appear on photographs. Simply put, these phenomena have to do with gravity and anti-gravity forces that are also exactly described in the book and with ever more stable wormholes and hyper communication and thus with energies from outside our time and space structure.
Earlier generations that got in contact with such hyper communication experiences and visible vacuum domains were convinced that an angel had appeared before them. And we cannot be too sure to what forms of consciousness we can get access when using hyper communication. Not having scientific proof for their actual existence (people having had such experiences do NOT all suffer from hallucinations) does not mean that there is no metaphysical background to it. We have simply made another giant step towards understanding our reality.
Official science also knows of gravity anomalies on Earth (that contribute to the formation of vacuum domains), but only of ones of below one percent. But recently gravity anomalies have been found of between three and four percent. One of these places is Rocca di Papa, south of Rome (exact location in the book “Vernetzte Intelligenz” plus several others). Round objects of all kinds, from balls to full buses, roll uphill. But the stretch in Rocca di Papa is rather short, and defying logic sceptics still flee to the theory of optical illusion (which it cannot be due to several features of the location).

Cultivating Your Intuition With Hypnosis
Friends, psychic abilities are our birthright. We are all born with one or more of them. Because they have not been encouraged these gifts have atrophied within us but they have not disappeared. Once encouraged on a regular basis they return and can become quite powerful indeed!
In this post I want to talk specifically about the gift of intuition which is frequently called ESP, instinct, and "that gut feeling." Personally, I feel our intuition is the greatest psychic gift there is. I say this because it is next to impossible to interpret a feeling incorrectly.
For instance, I may ask myself, "Is today a good day to list an item I want to sell on ebay?", knowing full well my intention is to get a really high price for that item. I tune into my intuition as I am asking and notice what I am feeling. If I feel good about it I know it is a good day to list and I will get a high price. If, when I tune in, I am not feeling such a good feeling about it then I know it is not a good day to list the item.
Once upon a time I was not so good at eliciting answers from my intuition. I had to cultivate this ability. I did this by suggesting to myself over and over that I was profoundly intuitive and that my intuition is strong, powerful and accurate, plus a few other choice suggestions. Within 3 weeks of doing hypnosis for myself daily on this subject I was astounded at the result. My ability to intuit things had sky rocketed!
I use my intuition for everything. I even tune in to my intuition when I am working with a client. My success with clients has quadrupled as a result.
Let me explain how I use this gift with clients. As I am giving suggestions to my clients I am intuiting whether or not to use certain words and the best way to put those words together so as to have a positive and powerful impact on the person's subconscious mind. I am also intuiting whether or not the client likes what they are hearing. If I am feeling that they do not like a suggestion as I have given it I then intuit how to reword the suggestion so that their subconscious likes it and will accept it. Honestly, I don't know how any hypnotherapist does this work without employing their intuition. For me, the two are inseparable.
My suggestion to everyone is to cultivate your intuition. It will never steer you in the wrong direction. With a full blown working intuition you will always make the right decisions, provided you listen to it, that is. In the end, it really is about learning to listen to your intuition and this can be as great an undertaking as cultivating it. However, with the use of hypnosis even the persistent and annoying need to ignore your intuitive hunch can be overcome. Trust me, it is so!
Hypnosis In Your World
I wonder how many people realize that they experience the hypnotic state many times throughout their day. Most, I’ll say, don’t know it at all so let me enlighten you.
You pass through 2 stages of hypnosis as you are falling asleep at night and you pass though them again as you wake up in the morning. It is this way with all people, no exceptions, unless of course you never sleep.
There are, however, other times in the day that you are most likely hypnotized as well. Anytime you find yourself fixated on something, you are hypnotized. Whether it is a good book, a TV program or computer games, if you are fixated then you are in a state of hypnosis.
Also, particularly where television is concerned, know that you are vulnerable to hypnotic suggestion while you are watching TV. Advertisers depend on it in fact. How else would they manage time and time again to sell you things you do not need, especially that yummy pizza or a delicious Applebee’s fat filled appetizer…?
So in closing please be aware that a hypnotic trance is not something you have to work hard at achieving, in fact you could say, Hypnosis Happens!
Using Hypnosis to Awaken Psychic Gifts
I have been asked, “How is it possible to become more psychic using hypnosis?” The answer is, through the use of hypnotic suggestion that part of the brain which allows psychic and intuitive impressions to come through can be 'awakened'.
We are all born with psychic ability. It truly is our birthright. However, for most of us, this faculty was not encouraged and exercised as we grew so it atrophied. This does not mean it disappeared altogether. It didn’t. It just became inactive.

The Truth About Anger and Other Non-Helpful Emotions
With all the really negative stuff happening on the planet these days people are feeling stressed, frustrated, afraid, sad or angry. As human being's, having one, or all of these emotions, is considered normal. We are, after all, emotional beings.
That being said I'd now like to comment about these feelings. They aren't in any way helpful to you nor do they help in correcting our mounting global problems. In fact, any one of these emotions will completely dis-empower you and leave you cowering and whimpering in the corner.
Now don't get me wrong, the emotions are valid and when we have these emotions we need to recognize them, acknowledge them, salute them even, then kiss them good bye because they will not change one darn thing. Only when you claim your power over your earthly challenges can you truly make a difference in your life and the lives of others.
Hypnosis and the Subconscious Mind
Hypnosis, hypnotic suggestion and the subconscious mind, how do they work together to bring about change in a person's mind, body and spirit? Basically, the subconscious mind works like the mind of a very young child. A child , of say 3 years of age, has not yet developed the ability to think logically and reason things out. The subconscious is subjective and believes what you tell it, as a child of 3 would, provided the logical (conscious) part of your mind does not interfere. Hypnotherapists call this logical conscious mind the "Critical Factor". As adults, in a manner of speaking, everything that you see, hear, touch, smell, and taste first passes through the logical conscious mind before it reaches the subconscious. The subconscious will only accept what the 5 senses detect as valid if the the logical conscious mind says it is valid. Once the logical mind says "Yes, this is valid." then the information is stored in the subconscious mind and that programming keeps running until it (the subconscious mind) is told something differently. When a person is in a relaxed state of mind and body, as is the case when a person is hypnotized, the logical conscious mind (critical factor) can be bypassed allowing ideas and suggestions to go directly to the subconscious mind thus planting the seeds for change. Still, the suggestions given to person in a state of hypnosis must be in accordance with what the person truly desires for themselves, morally, spiritually, physically, mentally, etc. or else the suggestions will not take hold and will have no affect whatsoever. If the hypnotized person finds the suggestion that is given to them appealing in every way, then that suggestion will have an affect on how and what the person thinks, feels and experiences once they are fully alerted and returned to a normal waking state of consciousness. This, of course, is a very simplified explanation, however, it will give you some idea of the hypnotic process and how it works on the subconscious mind to bring about physical, mental and emotional change in a person who truly desires change.

For nearly 30 years, my favorite hypnotist has been Barrie Konicov, who was skillfully combining guided meditation trance states with subliminal programming to produce powerful results in his listeners when most of the others on the market now were still in their diapers!
